BIG Lottery Funding

Everyone at Cheshire Autism Practical Support are excited to anounce some amazing news.......

They have been awarded funding of £375,505 from BIG Lottery.

It is a game changer for the small charity and they couldn't be happier for the families that they support. It will allow them to have access to 4 full time members of staff, intensive social skills classes for children, the Club our specialised socialisation group, independence and living skills for adults, 2 CIEH qualifications for adults, counselling, continuation of our autism awareness assemblies in schools and running costs for 3 years.

The Trustees are still in shock - it always felt like a pipe dream for them and the application process was very tough - but they got it in the end ....... YIPPEE!!!.

ChAPS would like to send out a HUGE thanks to all their members, staff and trustees past and present because they know they couldn't have got to this stage without you.

You can see the project ‘Brighter Futures’ in black and white or should I say pink and white on the official BIG Lottery Fund website.

You can also see a few photos taken at Barnabys via their Facebook page.

Alternatively visit their website to see what fantastic work they do.
